Dear TMCH Partners,
The .kred TLD will soon relaunch within the DNS.
.kred is an identity TLD, centralizing identity information and was originally launched in 2015. Now .kred will relaunch to resolve simultaneously in the DNS and ENS.
The .kred domain name addresses both web pages (DNS) and wallets (ENS). It is therefore "informational" by resolving to websites and other services and "transactional" as it can be used for financial and other transactions of digital assets.Users of .kred will be able to use the .kred name and transfer them in the ENS via an Ethereum ERC721 Token.
As a brand owner or agent representing a brand owner we want to inform you of the relaunch of .kred so you have the opportunity to register within .kred and protect the intellectual property rights associated with the brand.
The Kred DNS ENS TLD is unique:
The Ethereum ERC721 Token synchs both the DNS and ENS entries
Easy Transfer - Control of the Kred Domain by NFT means that transfer can take place by simply passing the Token to a new owners digital wallet
Ongoing Royalties are provided to the First SLD Owner (for transfers made on partner sites)
.Kred is planning to conduct the following ENS-Sunrise phases:
- Pre-registration of the Ethereum Tokens to manage a given .Kred domain name (beginning February 20, 2020)
- Auction of .Kred Ethereum Tokens to manage a given .Kred domain name
- General Availability Ethereum Token to manage a given .Kred domain name
In order to give brand owners using the TMCH service an opportunity to ensure they can use .Kred names and thereby prevent third parties from doing so, .kred is offering a DNS ENS TLD Briefing Webinar to provide more details on the .kred relaunch:
